Coach Sampo wrestled at Lindenwood University where he finished 5th twice and 4th once at the NAIA championships and was a three time All-American.

His wrestling experience, strong work ethic, and desire to see the Howell program continue to grow and reach high levels of success will help to guide the program in the coming years.
